The Present

The metropolitan City, known as the
megacity, is expanding without any apparent pattern
but is most likely to be developed from the center.
The consequence is that the City needs to “plan” to
leave green space since the early initial planning. Green
space tends to shrink because even the leave-out area,
whether for local, original civilian, green space, or plants
to grow, the demand of metropolitan people to use the
land is potentially more substantial than protecting the
indigenous resources and people. The Dry is expanding,
but the Wet is shrinking. The same situation of dryness
also applies to visible scales such as human interaction
and social connection. Humans are a profoundly social
species, with a need to interact with others built into
our biology and evolutionary history.
